Blackpool dance festival is the event, which every dancer or dancing lovers are always waiting for. It's the most famous and luxury dancing competition, which is held in England for almost 100 years. People believe you're very lucky if you had an opportunity to enter the Blackpool Dancing Hall doors. Why is it so popular?

For every dancer competition, which takes place in english town Blackpool, is crucial. Every dancer has an objection or even dream to go to Blackpool Dance Festival.
This competition is almost 100 years. First Dance Festival was held in 1920 at the Empress Ballroom of Winter Gardens. Since 1920 this festival is an annual event which counts many people from different parts of the world. For example, in 2003, in Blackpool competition more than 1500 people took part from 54 various countries. So that this competition is not only the most famous among dancers, but it's the largest dancing festival all over the world.
Live music, great hall and wonderful atmosphere there make you feel like in a fairytale. Lots of pairs in colourful costumes draw your glance and it's hard to turn yout eyes away. Standart dancing, Latin dancing and the best pairs all over the world will show you all you need to know about dancing. But judges are very strict and firm. So that they try to find out the best pair, although they pay only a few seconds to each pair.
I guess almost for every participant it's business of honour to take part and perfom on Blackpool festival. Many years of training, lot's of various expensive costumes, and of course strong willpower let some dancers participate in this festival. Every year only a few dancers all over the world have a lucky chance to perfom on the best dancing stage. For latest years Blackpool Dancing Festival is held in May, and it would be great if I could say: "Everyone can come and watch the festival of their lives". But it's not so easy as it seems. Probably you have never heard about Blackpool Competitions, but many others have. So tickets of this show are sold for many years beforehead. For example, I guess I will not able to get there for nearest 5 years at least.
